The Team — The Critical View of Safety Challenge

Organization

Working on behalf of SAGES, the CVS Challenge organizing team is comprised by members of the Surgical Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Laboratory (SAIIL) at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA, the Center for Advanced Medical Computing and Analysis (CAMCA) at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Computational Analysis and Modeling of Medical Activities (CAMMA) at the University of Strasbourg, Europe. All team members work in research at the intersection of computer science and surgery with a collective goal of establishing worldwide standards of artificial intelligence technology for excellence in surgical care.

In addition to the organizing team, the SAGES Critical View of Safety Challenge is supported by an academic advisory board and an industry advisory board comprised of leading worldwide experts in the development and establishment of AI in surgery.
